Betco Fasteners stock nailers and nails for fixing timber cladding. Nailing is the easiest & quickest method of fixing timber cladding. Stainless steel nails are essential for woods such as oak and cedar but are recommended for all timber cladding applications. The best nails to use in our opinion are full round head ring shank coil nails. 16G finish nails can be used for light timber cladding applications but only have small heads which can pull through softer woods such as cedar. Using a nail gun for fixing timber cladding will save you a lot of time & money.
